Rialle wandered through the docks, watching the sailors load, and unload cargo, every thing seemed so familiar, yet so far away. She wandered on to one of the ships, fingering the masts, and the rail.
She felt a large hand grab her shoulder, and spin her around " NO TRUST PASSIN GIRL!!!!!!" Bellowed a large hairy man Rialle immediately labeled as the captain. But she had no time to say say anything, for she was hurled of the ship, and on to a pile of fishing nets.
She leaped to her feet, and dusted of her shirt, before calling out to the captain " NICE BOAT" The man glared at her, then called in return.
" SHIP!!! THIS AIN'T NO BOAT!!" He turned and walked away, looking furious, though Rialle could tell he was chuckling.

Jayune lept from dock to dock, whistling. The seventeen year old boy was trying to get to Tontale quickly, so he went through the harbors. He saw a captain yell at a girl and laughed. Those captains were always doing that, acting so tough and mean, but they really all had a heart of gold. The young man jumped onto the next dock. His green eyes sparkled with fun and excitement, and behind that, ideas sparked, lighting up his face. His short brown hair moved back and forth, as though against the wind. The tall boy was muscly and tan, but not in the high and mighty sort of way. He seemed to have had some hard times that had made him like that, but his fun-loving and mischevous nature always bubbled up, covering that aspect of him.

Rialle smirked, then turned, she began to walk down the harbor, she noticed Jayune, whom she had noticed laughing as she landed on the nets, and sped up to walk next him.
" well that wsa interesting!" she laughed rubbing her back " Lucky that net was there!" she felt for hre mothres necklace, but it couldnt be found. She cursed koudly, an dashed back to the net.
she began searching for it, and was realived when her fngers grabbed hold of the silver chain. she sighed, and slipped the chain over her head, glad she had not lost it

Jayune looked at the girl and smiled carefully, not wanting her to think anything wrong. He scratched his head and waited for the girl to come back, watching her get her necklace from the net. He shuffled his foot along the deck and asked, "What's your name, and how come you're down here?" it was a polite conversation. The boy put a hand on his dagger for comfort, like he almost always did when talking to a girl. Unless he was comfortable around them, like he was with Arianna now, he was kind of akward around them.
