The season is autumn, and the leaves are beginning to change color and turn crisp, as is the custom for leaves in the fall. There is plentiful deer, hares, squirrels, and other creatures that the people of Bijorne and Tontale hunt, but being out on the sea isn't all that great for the pirates. Especially since they're caught in a storm!
